As a way of showing the benefits associated with cork flooring, Amorim Cork Flooring recreated an area of the surface of Mars, on Earth, and invited Scott Kelly, a former NASA astronaut with the record for the most days in space, to be the first to step on it.
Based on the concept “Walk on Amazing”, the campaign focuses on conveying the unique benefits of cork floors, with emphasis on the factor that has the most weight in the purchase decision, design. Until the campaign, ACF had 17,000 floor designs in its portfolio, now it has 17,001 (Mars).
